The City of Rockingham is based approximately 50 km south of Perth, 30km south of Fremantle, and 30km North of Mandurah.

Rockingham includes the suburbs and localities of Baldivis, Cooloongup, East Rockingham, Garden Island, Golden Bay, Hillman, Karnup, Peron, Port Kennedy, Rockingham, Rockingham Beach, Safety Bay, Secret Harbour, Shoalwater, Singleton, Waikiki and Warnbro.

The opening of the Mandurah to Perth train line has ensured that Rockingham has great transport links with Perth and onwards to the rest of WA..

Beaches

The City of Rockingham contains some of the finest coastline and parks in Perth's metropolitan area. Waikiki Beach, Rockingham Beach and Warnbro Beach have been awarded "Best", "Most Improved" and "Best Natural" beaches respectively.

You will find the beaches around Rockingham, many of which are dog friendly to be spacious and many. you won't have a problem finding a space all to yourself.
